Roullete Strategy – How to Win at Roullete
Roullete is a casino game in which players place wagers on the outcome of a spin of a roulette wheel. The game involves a ball and a spinning wheel with slots numbered from 1 to 36, plus two additional zero pockets. Bets can be made on individual numbers, groups of numbers, the colors red or black, whether a number is odd or even, and more. The game is a simple one to play and requires no skill or complicated rules. However, there are a few strategies that can improve your chances of winning.
Firstly, you need to understand the table layout. The betting board/felt shows all the possible bets you can make, and is where you will place your chips. The wheel is a revolving disc with compartments or ‘frets’ that are painted alternately in red and black, and numbered non-consecutively from 1 to 36, along with either a single or double zero (depending on the style of the roulette wheel).
A straight-up bet picks a specific number. If this wins, you will receive a payout equal to the total value of your bet. To place this bet, simply drag your chip onto the desired number on the betting table.
For a column bet, you will need to place your chips on the section of the betting table that has ‘2 to 1′ written. If the ball lands in this section, you will win. Dozen bets are a bit more complex, as you will have to select the first, second or third dozen. To do this, you will need to place your chips in the first, second or third ’12’ sections of the table.
The ball that is used in roulette is also important, as it has a significant impact on the outcome of each spin. The older balls were carved from ivory, but today’s professional roulette balls are made of materials such as resin or Teflon. These are lighter than the old ivory balls, and as a result they have more unpredictability when spinning around the roulette wheel.
